Going to be stopping at St. Vincent, Goodwill, and yard sales over the next year looking for old sweaters. Plan on making these for the tree and maybe for decorations on the gifts.
And then I saw some warm mittens made from old sweaters....

I have been wanting to hang one of our wooden chairs on the wall since over break when Cassie and I were watching my new favorite DYI...can't remember the name of the show but the couple that rehabs and flips old houses is really good and have the same taste as I do. In one of the first episodes we watched, she hung an old wooden chair on the wall. I loved it! I just happened to have four wooden chairs that have been hanging on the wall in the garage since we first moved in about 8 years ago. The light bulb went off in Cassie's head first. Thinking I should go out and count how many are still hanging...one or two might have made their way to IN recently.
I love it!.
The board is cut from the bottom of a snowman thing that one of my friends had in a rummage sale that she game me for helping out. So you may be wondering where the snowman thing is now...
He stands proudly as my new snow measuring person!
