It has been such a long time since Mark has 'allowed' me to find some treasures for the yard.  But today I guess I got so excited it just happened.  Here's the story....We have been making masks for awhile now, Jodi had gotten several from us.  Jodi is now part of the Little ARmy because she has supplied fabric on several occasions.  So the other day she came bu to pick up a few more masks and we got to talking about flowers and gardening.  I invited her to see what we have been doing in the back yard.  Her kids Josie and Everett were with her so they all came back.  They loved the yard but they really loved all the animals!  We now have more volunteers for animal sitting.  Anyway, Jodi liked all the treasures in the yard and she remembers that her neighbor had a white pedestal sink out by the curb.  YEA!!!  She then tells me her neighbor's name.  It is Jen Bruce.  The Jen Bruce that was one of Michael's teachers in elementary...that we go to church with...that is in our Life Group...that is Levi's aunt...and that Mark calls his sister.  Small world.  Jodi says that she will go to Jen's to see if it is still by the curb.  I text Jen and it is still there free for the taking.  Jodi quickly loads the kids up and head for Jen's.  The rest is history!

I'm not quite finished with my vision but here is the start.  See the two chickens?

I am LOVING this!  The other on the way home from somewhere, Mark and Michael passed a dining room suite sitting on the side of the road.  Michael told Mark that he was going back to check out the chairs.  We have told him, offered on numerous occasions, that we would buy him a new desk chair.  Nope, he's having none of it.  (He's definitely the frugal one of the family)

He has no idea I got pictures of him pickin'!

There he goes up the street in search of new chairs.  He decided to get two...one for him and one for a friend.  Always thinking that boy!

Checking them out, deciding which ones are the best.

Finally made a decision.

Headed back to the house.

He is thrilled with his first pick!  And so am I.  Only one problem...you can hardly move in his room.

Just another proud day for this mom!

This little project has been a long time in the making.  Sarah made it for me!  Crafty little wonder she is turning into.

Love it...now to find some empty wall space.

A few weekends ago we went to WV to have a shower for my niece.  My cousin comes bearing a gift for me.  And she knows what I love...

The piece of wood with a cut out is awesome.  And the two little wooden 'banister tops' add a nice touch.  On the opposite wall in the bathroom, I have a frame made from wood that Kim gave me from her grandparent's house.  It has lots of peeling paint.  I love ita ll!
